I hope all the mommy writers had a great Mother's Day!
I, for one, spent Mother's Day with my "fur children." We took a walk in the morning, and in the evening I rode my horse and spent some time at the barn.
How did you spend your Mother's Day?

You have a horse!!!! Lucky you.
Glad you had fun. I spent quality time with my mom and the cats.
Mother's Day is the holiday I most dread. I spent part of the day with my brother at my mom's and my grandmother's gravesites. If I can't be with them in person, I can at least be with them in spirit and memory. This month slams me with thoughts of missing them both since they were both also born in May.
I thought Mother's Day would probably be pretty difficult for you. While you're with them in spirit, you should "take" them with you to a place they enjoyed going during their lifetimes. Just don't talk to them out loud or anything, because I don't want to be visiting you in the mental ward! LOL!

Devon,
I do have a horse! You can read all about him on my Pony Tales Blog.
I spent Saturday with my mom -- hubby and I took her out for brunch, and then I took her to the barn with me for a bit Saturday evening.
Turned out to be a good thing I opted for Saturday -- my sister made her usual last-minute plans with my mom on Sunday. ;o)
