The other day, I posted a poll asking whether people have received their Associated Content performance bonuses. Unfortunately, I haven't received very many responses.
Please, please, please answer my poll! I am still having problems getting Associated Content to pay me my performance bonus, and I am trying to confirm (or disprove) a sneaking suspicion that the performance bonus may be a hoax!

Well, I'm not familiar with Associated Content - the one article I submitted many moons ago was declined (dated material, they said, but I should have known since it was an interview about recent events).
Since we're on the subject, have you thought about doing a post about your overall experiences with AC? I'd be interested in it!
Alicia, thanks for your comment. My experiences with Associated Content aren't plentiful, because I quit writing for them very much after my first few articles -- they just don't pay enough. However, I had recently started using them to republish some of my marketing articles from EzineArticles.com, which is when the performance bonus thing started.
I intend to post soon about my experiences with the performance bonus situation -- how bad that post reflects on AC is up to them, at this point, but it doesn't seem to me that there will be a happy end to this story. Once I get some more poll results in, I will post.
In the meantime, I have written on Associated Content a few times in the past, and you are welcome to see what I had to say back then (before the performance bonus fiasco). One post is about my overall experiences with Associated Content, and the other is about the spam the traffic bonus system promotes.
By the way, if you know anyone who writes for Associated Content, please send them my way. I would really like to get enough poll data to back up my theories, so that I have more to go on when I write a post about it!
I responded and I haven't received my bonus either and I have like 44,000 profile views....and no payment at all.
Jessica, thank you for responding to the poll. I tried posting on the AC forums and found out about a few more people who have had problems getting paid. Unfortuantely, I also got a lot of flak from other CPs for posting about it -- more on that later.
Sorry about your experience in the forum, Katharine.
Thanks Roselyn. Reading your comment actually went a long ways to making me feel better. I tend to get pretty fired up about things (big surprise, right?), so a kind comment or two helps to balance my mood a bit. :o)
