Sometimes I think how I start the week off sets the mood for the rest of the week. I often call Monday my "recovery" day -- recovery from my busy weekends, that is. If I can stay home on Monday and get work done in the morning, I feel like it puts me in a good place for the rest of the week. But if I have a lot of other demands on my time on Monday (as I did last week), one thing often leads to another, and I feel like the week is almost over by the time I finally sit down at my desk.
This week, as you can tell, I am starting the week off right -- mostly. I am sitting at my desk, working, and although I do have a few demands on my time before work this afternoon, I am squeezing in what work time I can. Making time today feels like a positive way to start off the week, and I'm hopeful I'll be able to continue making time throughout the week.
What about you? Do you have any Monday routines that help you get focused for the week ahead?
I'll post my goals check-in tomorrow, but today this was on my mind!
