Michael goes for coffee every Wednesday and Friday mornings with a co-worker -- Friday to end the week on a happy note, and Wednesday to help get him over the hump!Katharine Swanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16805523619692744514noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19555277.post-50497166104200602452008-05-13T12:48:00.000-06:002008-05-13T12:48:00.000-06:00If I could actually get my butt out of bed earlier...If I could actually get my butt out of bed earlier than 8:45, I might try your Friday morning breakfast idea, Lori. ;o) My brother, who is a mechanic and has to work Saturdays, does the same thing. He and his colleague meet for Saturday breakfast to make working the half weekend feel a little less like working.Kathy@TheFlawlessWordhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06853229641428041727noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19555277.post-5966302927823050792008-05-13T11:28:00.000-06:002008-05-13T11:28:00.000-06:00I meet a writer friend every week for coffee. It's appalling that content buyers not only hire writers with this philosophy, but also encourage others to do the same.Katharine Swanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16805523619692744514noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19555277.post-48827030453294450952008-05-12T12:15:00.000-06:002008-05-12T12:15:00.000-06:00I have numbers 1, 3 and 4 covered pretty well and ...I have numbers 1, 3 and 4 covered pretty well and I'm working on number 5. Number 2, however, is my downfall. I eat at my desk and don't actually take a lunch break per se. I either work while I'm eating or catch up on blogs and email. Maybe I'll try slowly easing in to a lunch hour by trying to take one once or twice a week. Oh, and my laptop battery seems to be losing power too!Kathy@TheFlawlessWordhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06853229641428041727noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19555277.post-17407924962250901902008-05-10T12:17:00.000-06:002008-05-10T12:17:00.000-06:00I do all of those things. When the weather was nice and they were settled, I took my writing out to the lake.

A needed break.

I read your response to that content buyer who thinks poor writing skills can still have good content -- what is he smoking? I just wanted to THROW UP.

This is why I don't use places Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
